Old Cooktop Removal

Circuit Assessment and Upgrade Where Required

The existing cooktop circuit is checked for size and condition. Most modern induction cooktops require a 20A or 32A circuit. If the existing circuit is undersized, a new circuit is installed from the switchboard as part of the same visit.

New Cooktop Hardwired Installation

The new cooktop is hardwired to the circuit with a proper terminal connection made in the cooktop's connection bay. Not a plug-in lead. All elements are tested before completion.

Certificate of Electrical Safety Issued

Issued on completion of every cooktop installation. Required by most manufacturers to validate the warranty.
